In this series, we focus on Panda Insulation’s most valuable asset: the dedicated insulation pros that make up our team. Today, we’d like to introduce you to Gilbert, the newest member of Panda’s team.

Meet Gilbert
Originally from the Philippines, Gilbert has lived in Ottawa for over eight years with his wife and two children. He has recently joined Panda Insulation team as an installer of blown-in fiberglass attic insulation.
Prior to joining Panda Insulation, Gilbert was working six nights per week as a cleaner, and sees a major opportunity for career advancement with Panda’s team.
Panda has assisted me in growing my salary, getting training in installing insulation, and they are currently looking into getting me driving lessons.
My goal is to get a Canadian driver’s licence and drive the truck within the next two years!
Gilbert
Gilbert added that one of the things he likes most about working at Panda is the “work life balance and having the ability to grow my career surrounded by great team members.”
In his free time, Gilbert enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and two kids. This Christmas, he is excited to travel back to the Philippines to spend time with his family.
To date, Gilbert has already worked alongside Panda Insulation’s experienced team on several installations, helping homeowners across Ottawa improve their energy efficiency.
